Eco-Friendly Spotlight: Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme
Thanksgiving is just around the corner. There are so many things to be thankful for. One unexpected thing that I’m thankful for are my feet. Yes, the two things that get you through the day, literally. We really don’t show enough appreciation for them. We put them in (pretty) heels at towering heights, make them walk long distances and sometimes stand in them for long periods of time.
This Thanksgiving, treat your feet to some TLC. Soak it in some bath salts (or even just Epson Salts), add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Then, dry them off in a fluffy towel (we really should have a towel specifically for our feet) and then slather on some foot cream.
While some of us may settle for body cream, it’s really best to use foot cream. Try looking for a foot cream that absorbs quickly. My favorite at the moment is Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme. Coconut oil provides ample moisture and its molecular structure allows for it to absorb quickly into our skin. The coconut oil’s wonderful scent is accompanied by rosemary and peppermint extracts. Talk about a refreshing foot treatment.
TLC for our tootsies is something I would save for night time. After moisturizing those feet, don’t forget to pull on thick fuzzy socks to lock in the moisture. You’ll be greeted in the morning with such soft, smooth feet that you’ll be wishing you could leave the house in sandals.
